The Kibbee Kid Information Bracelet is more than just an ID bracelet--it is truly a source of important INFORMATION.

On the top of the Kibbee we engrave a picture, a phrase, a name--whatever you want.

On the inside of the Kibbee--the part worn against the wrist--we engrave vital information. Your phone number, cell phone number, child's medical issue, etc. We can give you three lines of information, four if you really need it.

The Kibbee is always a bright red tag on a silver chain. Medical and emergency personnel are trained to look for red bracelets. I myself have had my son's Kibbee turned over by nurses in doctor's offices (and once, in the emergency room of the hospital, don't ask) who were looking for medical information. Swim instructors and other teachers and parents have asked if my son has a medical issue--the red is a noticeable color and it gets attention. I don't mind people asking if he's got a medical issue--they're seeing the bracelet, and that's what you want in an emergency situation.

The Kibbee's tag is made of anodized aluminum, and is about 1 3/4" x 1/2". It's so lightweight you can barely feel that it's on your wrist. The red plate is gently curved after engraving, to follow the shape of the wrist. The edges may get a bit scuffed (kids are active little souls!), but it won't rust. The chain is made of stainless steel; the clasp is nearly impossible to open with one hand, so your child won't be taking it off unassisted. The bracelets can go in and out of the tub, in and out of the pool, through the sandbox...you never have to take it off. A Kibbee won't keep your child from getting lost (only you can do that!), but just knowing your child has your phone number on them at all times (you do it for your dog, right?) lessens the parental anxiety just that little bit.

To measure for a Kibbee, just measure loosely around your child's wrist and choose the best size from the drop-down menu below. And by the way, these can fit adults, too, so if you have a medical need or perhaps participate in some dangerous sports, you may want to think of one for yourself as well!
